This project is not a traditional retrospective exhibition. It’s based on the use of the archive of the Shiryaevo biennale — photographs, videos, objects and installations. It aims to present a wide audience of the holistic authentic image of the Biennale and its creative path from the moment of its formation to the present day.

The exposure is represented by a total installation of sand and rubble stone, in which artistic works are introduced, and a «video jacket» around the walls with fragments of a creative laboratory and a «nomadic show» of the Shiryayevo Biennale from 1999 to 2016.

The Mystery-play, chosen as the main way of presenting the Biennale, unites the personal experiences of everyone in the general path of passage, allowing the viewer himself, with his own feet, to reach the idea of the artist, to live together through the experience of overcoming and thereby become part of what he understands as «art».

There are several objects on the stone relief. These are rare preserved artifacts of the «nomadic show» of different years. An important principle of the Shiryayevsky Biennale is not to leave traces, concentrating on the intangible, almost all the artists' projects are dismantled at the end of the event, only those that have become part of nature or the life of local residents remain.
